Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

ReactHub (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the ReactHub mobile application and this website. For privacy questions, contact privacy@react-hub.com. Mailing address: 3010-4 Forest Laneway, North York, ON M2N 5X8.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use ReactHub (the app), this website, and related services. We aim to follow the fair information principles under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.

3. Information we collect

Depending on how you use ReactHub, we may collect:

  • Account information: name, username, email address, password (stored in hashed form), profile photo, bio, and privacy settings (including private account).
  • User content: posts, snaps, video Reacts (including related audio/video), messages, Reacts, comments, and reports you submit.
  • Social graph: follows, friends, and related connection data needed to operate feeds and messaging.
  • Device and technical data: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and diagnostic information.
  • Notifications: push notification tokens and your notification preference settings.
  • Support communications: information you send when you contact us.
  • Analytics and crash data: if enabled, limited usage and reliability data to improve the service.

4. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve ReactHub (feeds, Reacts, messaging, explore);
  • Authenticate accounts and secure the service;
  • Deliver push notifications you enable;
  • Moderate content and enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines;
  • Handle support and privacy requests;
  • Comply with applicable law and protect rights and safety.

5. Consent

By creating an account and using ReactHub, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy. You can withdraw consent where applicable by adjusting in-app settings, deleting content, or requesting account deletion, subject to legal retention requirements.

6. Commercial electronic messages (CASL)

If we send commercial electronic messages (for example, marketing emails), we will do so in accordance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), including obtaining appropriate consent and providing an unsubscribe mechanism. This marketing website does not collect email addresses for a waitlist in version 1.

7. Sharing and disclosure

We may share personal information with service providers who help us host the app, deliver push notifications, store media, or provide analytics, under contractual obligations to protect your information. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a corporate transaction. We do not sell your personal information.

8. Cross-border transfers

Personal information may be processed or stored in [countries/regions] where our service providers operate. When information is transferred outside Canada, we take steps designed to protect it consistent with this policy and applicable law.

9. Retention

We retain personal information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, safety, and accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Access, correction, and deletion

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting privacy@react-hub.com or support@react-hub.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

12. Children

ReactHub is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

13. Your choices

In the app you may control private account settings, notification preferences, and related privacy options. You may also request account deletion through Support.

14. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of ReactHub after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy.
